i sent the link to this video to my good friend Morten, a Norwegian, and he had some comments:
"and now.,..! that video is incredible. do you know if its an actual old piece of advertising here in norway or what? you can still buy south state cigarettes here, and i cant imagine they sell them anywhere else...also, the people who would generally smoke south state wouldnt be the type i think to find this type of advertising apt for some reason...it is one of the cheapest brands..or more to the point, not for the high society,,..but then again, most marketers will try to make something seeming high society for the lower classes simply to get them to buy..anyway, strange.."
I was blown away that one could still buy South State in Norway, and am also curious if you know the origins of this out-there (pseudo?)-ad...?
